Estonian Air goes from strength to strength in the European Airline market.

Air travel to and from Estonia is on the increase and it is one of the most popular destinations in Europe in terms of increase in passenger numbers. One of the key beneficiaries of this surge in popularity is Tallinn airport where a large proportion of this increase has been seen. The key contributor to this on-going rise is Estonian Air.

The draw of Tallinn comes from the mixture of old and new situated side by side in the capital city of Estonia. UNESCO has awarded the old town of Tallinn, World Heritage Site status due to the large variety of historic buildings which still remain in excellent condition. These old parts of the city give an excellent visual guide to the social history of a city which has been inhabited for 5000 years and was at one point the gateway between Scandinavia and Russia in terms of trading, making it strategically very valuable.

Estonia Air have gone from strength to strength and over the years have increased the range and depth of the places from which they fly tourists in from. Estonian Air also has a foothold in Lithuania with their hub based at Vilnius which provides flights to a number of European destinations. A partnership with SAS further enhanced their reach with destinations in Scandinavia accessible and the option to use Scandinavian airports as onward hubs.
