Air France Flight Welcomed in Washington D.C
Air France's latest flight using an Airbus A380 has been received with much hype in Washington. The new service means that Washington is the latest American city to now be regularly visited by the planet's largest aeroplane.
The Airbus A380 is currently the world's largest commercial jet, utilising a double deck to seat an average of 525 people for aircraft with three class fare arrangements. Whilst the aircraft was first launched in 2005 only three U.S cities have benefited from a regular A380 service until now and these are Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. However, with the arrival of Air France Flight 28, Washington D.C bound passengers can now enjoy the A380 style of service from Paris. And with Lufthansa also starting a new route with their own A380 to Miami, the end of the week will see five regular routes making use of the huge aircraft.
For passengers making use of the service there will be a range of benefits on offer, including a quieter cabin and better air pressure to ensure that journeys are as comfortable as possible. This is vital on long haul flights, allowing people to recover quickly from their journeys and enjoy their destination. And for those wanting to visit the American capital, the Airbus A380 journey with Air France will make travel more enjoyable than ever before.
