New First Class Indian Flights with Lufthansa

Plane Flying Through The Clouds

It has been revealed by German airline Lufthansa that it is to offer First Class options for those travelling on popular Indian routes. As part of the airline's bid to make their winter portfolio as attractive as possible, Boeing 747-400s will receive the upgrade, offering premium travel for those flying to Delhi and Mumbai.

The decision to offer the First Class fares is notable as it is the first time that Lufthansa has provided such options on flights to Asia. With both the routes leaving Frankfurt, British travellers will have the ideal connection to enable continuous First Class travel from the UK. Mr Axel Hilgers, the director of South Asia operations for Lufthansa, said "Whether on the ground or on board, Lufthansa First Class passengers can always count on exceptional service. The introduction of our new premium product assures Indian First Class guests never-before luxury. The latest innovation underscores Lufthansa's commitment to continuous investment for the benefit of Indian customers."

First Class has itself had an overhaul of late, with seats converting into two metre long lie flat beds, and an additional seating option for travellers. With Indian destinations noting popularity for both leisure and business, the new class is set to see success.
