Come to Adelaide for the World's Greatest Touring Car Event

ADL, AdelaidePetrol heads will be in their element at the Clipsal 500 V8 Supercars Championship.

Join in with the excitement at the Clipsal 500 V8 Supercars Championship where the world's fastest supercars race it out over three adrenaline fuelled days.

The legendary motor racing commentator, Murray Walker, calls this the greatest touring car event in the world, and it is easy to see why. Held at Adelaide's internationally acclaimed Victoria Park street circuit every March, the race takes place in two 250 kilometre heats over the demanding 3.22 kilometre route. The race is highly competitive, with the top 20 cars qualifying within a hundredth of a second of one another.

To complement the racing, there is a range of other exciting entertainment over the course of the championship, including concerts, parties and an awe-inspiring fireworks display at the culmination of the event. If that is not enough to whet your appetite, there are numerous other events during the week long celebrations with fashion shows, charity events and spectacular air displays from the Australian Defence Force.

The races can be watched from a number of vantage points along the length of the circuit on the super screens which are specially erected for the occasion. If you would prefer to watch the race in more comfort, there are grandstand seats and the sophisticated 500 Club immediately behind the grandstand, which provides gourmet dining and entertainment facilities for the more discerning patron.
