The event showcases top international and Israeli jazz musicians with over 20 performances at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque. The Tel Aviv Jazz Festival is one of the most important jazz events in Israel.

Over the years the festival has earned a prestigious reputation both in Israel and abroad and as a result it attracts renowned jazz musicians from across the world and is a home for special projects. The main attraction of the Festival is the experience that it offers jazz lovers with internationally acclaimed musicians playing original Festival productions and premiere performances. In the past the festival has played host to Dee Alexander ‘Queen of Chicago’, the Nicole Mitchell Trio and Jaleel Saw a rising star from New York. In addition to the main events there are also free performances in the lobby of the Cinematheque.
