Since it was first held in 2004 the festival has grown in size, reputation and popularity and is now a major part of the culinary scene in Ireland. The event was originally introduced to bring together local producers, chefs and food enthusiasts to celebrate and share the experience. There is also an annual banquet which sells out fast and it is advisable to get your tickets for this event early.
