Bristol’s World Stage Festival
Bristol’s World Stage Festival will draw thousands to live dance and music performances. In July, the World Stage Festival will be on once again in Bristol. Featuring performers from as far away as France, America, Canada, Italy and Scotland, the World Stage Festival brings exhibitions and interactive experiences for all ages to Bristol.
Visitors to Bristol from Guernsey can expect to find a variety of delightful entertainments in Bristol this July. At the Studio at Bristol Old Vic and the Arnolfini, theatre and puppet productions will go on suitable for younger age groups. In the past, shows have been put on by a French theatre company, Les Voisins. Their show, ‘The Queen of Colours’, was awarded several international prizes for being the best show for children. This year’s show is sure to match, or even surpass, what’s gone before.
Shows and performances will be going on throughout the city, offering holidaymakers a chance to not only watch the entertainment, but to join right in. Children will especially enjoy the many interactive exercises being offered this year, including shows that encourage them to participate in the dances.
For the adults, live performances will include music and theatre from all over the world on stages throughout the city. Concerts and live dance performances will be held, as well as seminars and workshops designed to help holidaymakers get the most out of their experience at the World Stage Festival in Bristol. Families will travel from all over the world to enter in to a week of total cultural immersion, throwing themselves into the celebration and enjoying the beauty and pageantry that is the World Stage Festival in Bristol.
