Discover Phuket Bike Week at Patong Beach
From Hondas to Harleys, Phuket Bike Week is a world-class motorcycle event.Visitors to Patong Beach, Thailand, in April can enjoy the annual Phuket Bike Week, hailed as one of the largest motorcycle events in Southeast Asia. Fans of the event exceed 9,000, including thousands of registered bikers from hundreds of clubs from around the world. Patong Beach, an extremely popular tourist area which is located on the country’s largest island and is connected to the mainland by two bridges, also has an exciting nightlife as well as shopping venues.
Festivities for Bike Week are designed for bikers and fans alike, with live music, charity bike rides around the island and a variety of contests and parties taking place, as well as campaigns for bike and biker safety.
The entertainment includes big-bike exhibits and big-bike tours, stage performances by local and international performers, a tattoo contest which attracts almost as many fans as the concerts and a beach party featuring music, acrobatic performances and souvenir sales.
It would not be Bike Week without a bike contest, and entries in the Sport, Classic and Custom categories. The event concludes with a big-bike line-up along Patong Beach, allowing bikers and fans to get a closer look at their favourite Hondas and Harleys. The festive spirit continues with the Songkran Festival, which immediately follows Bike Week.
