Two of the most highly anticipated events during the Deccan Festival are the Bangles and Pearls Fair and the Food Fair. The Bangles and Pearls Fair features local craftspeople displaying their colourful wares, featuring everything from smooth, shining pearls to multi-coloured bangles. Purchasing one of these beautiful pieces assures visitors that they will return home with something that is unique to beautiful Hyderabad. The Food Fair is the perfect way to explore the delicious native cuisine. Food stalls sell Andhra, Nawabi and Hyderabadi cuisine for visitors and locals alike who are participating in the week-long festival of events.
