In a break from traditional theatre, the Orlando Fringe Festival runs yearly from late April to mid-May, is the largest and oldest Fringe Festival in the US and celebrates 20 years of “Uncensored, Unjuried and Accessible” performances.
Loch Haven Park and the streets of downtown Orlando give well-earned space to a different kind of exciting talent, featuring cabaret, professionally curated art shows, some traditional theatre and street acts. Over 500 performers representing 70 theatre companies are on hand every year in this cutting-edge spectacle. While most of the performances are meant for adult eyes only, there are outdoor performances and Kid Fringe parallel performances as well. Totally non-profit, admission proceeds go back to the artists who participate in the event.
