Miami is home to several cultures making it a wonderful leisure and vacation point.The city is a mix of different cultures and this has made it lively and a very entertaining place. The Miami International Film Festival showcases the best of world cinematography. Tens of thousands of film fans take part in the event, which takes place sometime during March. The festival attracts renowned actors, actresses, film producers and other stakeholders in the film industry.
Other popular festivals that are organised in various places around the city include the Miami International Boat Show – held in February, the Carnival Miami held in March, Festival Miami held for up to six weeks from September, the Miami Book Fair Festival that is organised each November and attracts more than 500,000 people each year to the destination.
The city of Miami has a diverse culture and fans of classical arts will be attracted by the Broadway lights displayed at the popular Jackie Gleason Theatre as well as the Colony Theatre. More art displayed can be viewed at the city’s Museum of Contemporary Art.
