Cincinnati, OH is a city that has long been associated with blues music. This interested in the blues has resulted in a yearly festival, held at the start of August called Cincy Blues Fest. Many travellers from outside the country who are blues fans make this festival their destination at least once. It is considered one of the city's top family-friendly events. The festival is held in Sawyer Point Park, which is in the heart of the tourist area and very easily accessible to travellers. This destination is situated directly on the Ohio River, where you can easily watch riverboats and other vessels going by.
Both local and well-known blues artists perform at the festival, which means that you have a good chance of hearing some of your favourites play. Usually, about 40 different acts play during the weekend, which allows guests to hear a lot of music. The artists appear on four different stages set up in the Bicentennial Commons area of the park.
