Leeds Rocked by Music Festival
Leeds Festival is one of the United Kingdom’s top live music events.
The Leeds Festival is one of the most popular live music festivals in the United Kingdom. Every year tens of thousands of music fans descend on Bramham Park over the August bank holiday weekend to rock out to some of the biggest names in live music and to soak up the sunshine (hopefully!).
In recent years the festival has hosted big name acts such as Guns ‘n’ Roses, Metallica, The Killers and Muse as well as a variety of other well known bands and up and coming artists. There is always a wide variety of music over several stages, so there is likely to be something to please everyone no matter what their taste in music may be. Other attractions include funfair rides, market stalls and food and drink stalls, and parties often continue way into the night at the silent disco and back at the campsites.
Festival goers can buy a ticket for the whole weekend, or just attend one day if they prefer. Campsites and caravan fields are available for those who choose to do the whole thing, and there are also numerous boutique camping options for those who like a little more luxury.
It is easy to get to the Leeds Festival by air – Leeds-Bradford International Airport services regular flights to and from Bristol, Newquay, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Southampton, Exeter and several other United Kingdom and European destinations. From the airport it is possible to catch a bus to the railway station, and then catch the festival shuttle to the site itself.
