Tenerife’s Amazing New Water Park
Tenerife’s Siam Water Park will keep everyone happy.
Tenerife, the largest of the Canary islands, has notched its resort status up one more step with the addition of the Siam Water Park in Adeje. Sitting on 185,000 square metres of land, the park is enormous and is best visited over at least a two-day period. With a Thai theme, excitement and stunning beauty are fused into a park that has something to please just about every member of the family.
For the young at heart, The Dragon takes up to four people on a raft down a water slide and into a cone-shaped enclosure past a “dragon” ready to bite. Adrenaline junkies will head for the Tower of Power, a water slide that starts 28 metres in the air, drops you down a water slide, through a clear tube beneath an aquarium and out into a sunny pool. This is the signature attraction of the park and one well worth queuing for. To let your heartbeat return to normal, grab a tube and float down the Mai Thai River
Families will enjoy Sea Lion Island, the first attraction you will see as you enter the park. The Lost City has waterfalls and bridges for older kids to explore, and a special Baby Zone for the young visitors. In addition, of course, souvenirs, food, and even Thai massages can be had in the Floating Market. This area also carries essential items such as sun cream, swimming suits, sunglasses and more. The park offers pay lockers for your belongings, and these are highly recommended. Leaving the bulk of your belongings safely behind will allow you to enjoy the day without worry.
