Attractions
Beaches, culture and music festivals, watersports, cathedrals and museums. Beautiful small towns to visit. Puerto de Mogan is highly recommended. Maspalomas beach.
Shopping
Gran Canaria has a big advantage in that the island is duty free. Electrical goods, camcorders, cameras as well as alcohol and tobacco are all available at much cheaper prices than the UK. Gift shops, boutiques, markets and souvenier shops are plentiful throughout the island.

Sioux City - Western theme park, Catamaran trip, Jeep Safari, Timanfaya Cruise - Spanish Galleon, and camel rides.
Family
Gran Canaria is well suited to a family holiday. There resorts are large and modern and there are many activities for children of all ages.
Getting Around
Buses operate between the main resorts but to see the best of what Gran Canaria has to offer, car hire is recommended as bus services are limited.
