There are markets at Mahon, Ciutadella, Es Castell, Alaio and Ferreries selling local produce and crafts, leather goods and souvenirs.
Excursions:
Bird watching, isolated coves, golf, boat trips, and white-washed inland towns. Boat trips on glass bottom catarmaran and carbaret with Sangria evenings.
Family:
Families are particularly welcome in Menorca as it is safe, clean and peaceful in the evenings.
Getting Around:
Buses are good from June to September at other times they are not so reliable. Local taxis are plentiful and car hire can be arranged and is recommended
