Brussels Airlines to launch new Africa routes
Leading European carrier Brussels Airlines has announced that it will commence flights to four additional West African destinations from its Brussels hub this summer.
From July, the Belgian airline will offer four weekly flights to Accra (Ghana), and two weekly flights each to Cotonou (Benin), Lome (Togo) and Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso). The new flights will be operated using an Airbus A330 aircraft.
The airline will also increase the frequency of its flights to Abidjan (Ivory Coast) to six per week.
Brussels Airlines has considerable experience of operating flights to Africa, and the new services will bring the total number of African destinations served by the carrier to 18, including 14 in West Africa. Other African destinations served include Banjul, Dakar, Entebbe, Freetown and Nairobi.
Passengers travelling from the UK can benefit from fast, convenient connections to these destinations thanks to Brussels Airlines' frequent flights to Brussels from eight UK airports, including Birmingham, Bristol, Heathrow and Manchester.
