On Location in New York
There's little point visiting a foreign city unless you explore it properly, but many travellers may be put off from traditional sightseeing tours, fearing that they're a little too touristy and cheesy.
However, a New York based company is offering tours of the city with a twist, focusing on the locations featured in hit films and television shows.
Provided by On Location Tours, the general On Location tour takes in over 100 iconic filming locations across New York City.
Film fans can visit the restaurant used in Spiderman, the firehouse featured in Ghostbusters and the sites where Tom Hank and Meg Ryan fell in love in You've Got Mail.
Comedy fans will not miss out, with the chance to visit the apartment featured in Friends and order soup from the infamous "Soup Nazi" of Seinfeld.
The general tour is offered daily, starting at 11:00am. Tickets must be booked 48 hours in advance and cost £19.56.
Specialist tours are also available for more dedicated fans, with those available including a Sex In The City tour, taking in the bars, shops and restaurants featured in the hit TV show.
