The AirMiles Travel Company is set to introduce a new fare pricing policy for those who collect Airmiles, which could reduce the cost of fares to 20 of its most popular destinations.
The policy will cut some of the ticket prices by as much as 40 per cent and will guarantee the flight prices enabling customers to avoid the current ticket cost fluctuations.
Destinations such as
Madrid,
Dublin and
Sydney, which are among the most travelled routes from the UK, will be available on the new fare list.
Airmiles director of partnerships, Brian Southward, said: "Travel continues to be a highly valuable reward for consumer spending and these latest changes will make the collection of Airmiles more popular than ever."
The Airmiles travel reward scheme, which currently has eight million customers, allows airline passengers to accrue points for every airline ticket they buy, offering as much as a point for every pound spent on a flight.
AirMiles Travel Company was established in 1988 and not only offers seats on over 110 major airlines and the choice of holidays with more than 100 different tour operators, but trips on Eurostar, ferries and car hire.
