Tourists
flying to Ireland this summer could soak up the artistic flavour of the southern emerald isle with a trip to the Kinsale Arts Week.
From July 15th to 23rd the town of Kinsale, near
Cork, plays host to a week of creative festivities celebrating the artistic talents of its local residents.
The week's activities include a fashion show of pieces designed by young people, which this year is based around the theme of water.
Visitors can enjoy numerous theatrical, literary and musical performances, throughout the week, as well as art exhibitions at venues varying from local schools to the surroundings of Desmond Castle.
There is also an artists trail, which takes visitors around local artists' studios, and various workshops offering creative souls of all ages the opportunity to get their hands dirty and test their artistic skills in everything from pottery to circus performance.
