This August, travellers who
fly to Berlin can grab themselves a drink in the world's longest beer garden as the tenth annual International Berlin Beer Festival returns to the city.
With over 250 breweries from nearly 80 countries around the world making an appearance at the festival, which runs from August 4th to 6th, visitors to
Berlin will have the chance to sample over 1,750 speciality beers.
Drinkers can stop and sample beers at any point along the two kilometre beer garden which will run through the city from Strausberger Platz to Frankfurter Tor, and between 13:00 and 15:00 local time on Saturday 5th August catch a glimpse of the traditional brewers' parade.
Admission to the festival, which is open from midday to midnight all weekend, is free with 16 different live music stages across the city, though discounted beer is available to those who purchase an official festival beer mug to drink from.
