Those travellers flying to Europe this summer may wish to take in the Film Festival am Rathausplatz in Vienna, Austria.
Described as "an absolute must" for opera fans, the festival involves opera-orientated films being shown on a big screen outside the city's town hall.
No entrance fees are charged, so those who grab a
flight to Vienna can enjoy the films for free, while enjoying the local food provided.
Different films are presented each night, enhanced by the surroundings of the city hall building and ring boulevard.
Between these
Vienna landmarks is a spacious park and open space, which acts as a cinema for film viewers in summer time.
In the winter, the same space is used for Christmas markets and other activities.
One of the landmarks that music fans who take a
flight to Vienna may wish to visit is the Vienna Opera House, which is situated in the southern end of the city.
