Throughout September and October holidaymakers taking a
flight to Cape Town should make their way to the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden for their season of Winter Warmer concerts.
Every Sunday evening from 18:00 local time Silvertree Restaurant located in the gardens, is playing host to live musical entertainment.
From acoustic folk and classical guitar music to award-winning jazz quartets and performers presenting an eclectic mix of funk-rock, reggae and samba, each week offers visitors to
Cape Town a different and diverse musical entertainment experience.
Internationally regarded musicians, such as American folk legend Shawn Phillips, sit on the bill alongside local Cape Town-based singer/songwriters such as Trudy Rushin, offering visitors the chance to catch something familiar or sample something completely new.
Tickets to the events cost £7, which includes a welcome drink and the starter course of soup, although booking is apparently essential.
