Renowned as Europe's friendliest jazz festival, the annual Guinness Jazz Festival in
Cork is set to run this year from October 26th to 30th.
Now in its 29th year the festival offers jazz lovers and visitors to
Cork the opportunity to see some great musicians and big names perform at various venues around the city.
The main line-up so far includes Jimmy Scott, Joe Lovano Nonet, the Harlam Gospel Choir, Courtney Pine, Hiromi and Randy Weston.
With more than 1,000 musicians expected to perform over the five-day jazz event, there are around 80 different venues across Cork where visitors can catch a taste of some traditional as well as experimental tunes.
Around 40,000 music fans are expected to descend on the city of
Cork for the Guinness Jazz Festival and tickets go on sale on September 1st.
