Film-lovers and TV producers should grab a
flight to Bulgaria in October to experience the nation's unique and alternative international festival of film.
The Golden Chest International Television Festival, which is heralded as one of the longest standing international festivals in Europe, this year runs from October 30th to November 4th in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv.
Independent producers and television organisations from across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Australia are expected to participate in the Bulgarian European festival and compete for the Golden Chest Grand Prix.
The working languages of the festival are Bulgarian, English and Russian and all films screened at the festival, including TV films and mini-series, TV documentaries and TV reports, will be simultaneously translated.
Viewers will be able to access the screening halls, discussions and press conferences venues free of charge.
