Fly to Cape Town this December for the city's biggest and most extravagant annual costume party.
Thanks to the fact that South Africa has one of the most liberal constitutions in the world, with regard to sexual orientation and gay rights,
Cape Town has one of the most lavish annual celebrations for those of all sexual orientations.
Organised by the Mother City Queer Project, this year's 24-hour fancy dress party will take place at the Ratanga Junction Theme Park on December 16th, on a yet to be decided theme.
For visitors to Cape Town, the rules are: no costume, no entry and party-goers are encouraged to be as creative as possible with their outfits, exploring every possible theme in-and-around this year's idea.
The gay celebration, which began life 12 years ago as an artistic creation/themed costume party, is a joyful opportunity for open-minded, fun-loving people to dress-up and dance through the dawn and well into the next day.
