Holidaymakers planning to
fly to Dublin in December can make their seasonal visit special with one of the Christmas concerts being hosted at the city's National Concert Hall.
As part of the season's festive events, there will be various musical and religious celebrations but for some truly atmospheric Christmas experience visitors to
Dublin should join the Carols by Candlelight concert on Saturday 16th.
There are two performances of carols and classical Christmas pieces, one at 15:15 and another at 20:00 local time, in an 18th century style, candle-lit setting.
The programme which will be performed by the Mozart Festival Orchestra with soprano Rebecca Bottone, conducted by Ian Clarke, will include such seasonal favourites as: Joy to the World, Angels from the Realms of Glory, the Christmas sequence from Messiah and Silent Night.
Ticket prices range from £13.50 (€20) to £28 (€42) and are available either from the National Concert Hall or online.
For more information check out the
National Concert Hall website.
