Travellers who
fly to Guernsey this December have the chance to step back in time and experience a taste of real history, at the island's museum.
The
Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery, from November 5th through until December 31st, will be playing host to A Victorian Christmas, giving visitors to the island the opportunity to see how Christmas was celebrated all those years ago.
More than just a simple display, the traditional Christmas experience is an interactive exhibit, set within a reproduction Victorian parlour, featuring games and activities for both children and adults.
There will also be an exhibition of genuine Victorian objects and works of art, as well as series of displays in the museum shop, which will have a number of special offers on throughout December for those hoping to pick up some unique Christmas gift ideas.
For more information about the exhibition and the Guernsey Museum, visit the
Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery website.
