Travellers wanting to experience an array of European arts should catch a
flight to Amsterdam for the annual Crossing Border festival.
Taking place between November 15th and 19th, the festival celebrates the work of artists, musicians, filmmakers and writers from across the continent.
It throws together some of the biggest stars of the arts world with a diverse range of lesser-known names, creating a melting pot of contemporary talent.
Past highlights of the
Amsterdam festival include Coldplay, Mercury Rev, Nick Hornby, Irvine Welsh, Lou Reed and members of Sonic Youth and the Fall.
With one of the aims of the festival being to unearth new talent, this year's event is sure to dig up some bright new stars for the future.
