Go tattoo crazy in Berlin

Do you appreciate a good tattoo? See the best of the best this winter at the Tattoo Convention in Berlin - and prepare to be amazed.

The event, held between December 1st and 3rd at the Arena in Berlin Treptow, showcases work by some of the most talented tattoo artists in the world.

Tattoos from as a far afield as Argentina, Russia and the US are on display for visitors, who can also watch an esteemed artist in action - perhaps not something for the faint-hearted.

The most eye-catching pieces of skin art also compete for prizes in a range of contests, including the best large tattoo, the most ornamental and the most realistic tattoos.

Visitors to this Berlin show can also learn about the different techniques involved in tattooing and piercing, as well as enjoy live entertainment in the form of magic shows, acrobatics, fire-eaters and snake charmers, among other acts.
