Yearning for summer to return to carry out a spot of gardening? Get on a
flight to Denver and do the next best thing by visiting the Blossoms of Light event at the Denver Botanic Gardens from December 2nd to January 21st.
While visitors will not be able to do some digging themselves, they will still be able to appreciate the beauty of the festive season's most visually pleasing plants and flowers during this event.
More than one million coloured lights decorate the 17-acre gardens, giving visitors a new perspective on some of the natural world's loveliest creations.
The heated outdoor Garden Pavilion tent and Mitchell Hall offer evenings of entertainment encompassing a variety of performances, while an indoor exhibition showcases more beautiful plants and offers visitors tasty snacks and winter beverages.
Many plant-lovers, though, will be more than happy to simply stroll around these
Denver gardens and enjoy the colourful scenery.
