Star Wars fans heading to
Los Angeles next spring should not miss the touring Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination exhibition at the California Science Center.
Between February and April, visitors to
Los Angeles will be able to discover exactly how much of the famous sequence of films is actually based on scientific fact.
The exhibition has two themes, transportation and robotics. The transportation displays show visitors how current forms of transport can move without touching the ground, while the robotics exhibits look into the relationships between humans and robots in Star Wars.
Fans will also be able to tackle a series of technical challenges in the exhibition's Engineering Design Labs, ranging from robot design to magnetic levitation.
In addition, a full-size replica of the Millennium Falcon from A New Hope will be in the exhibition, while visitors can also attend a series of live interpretations of some of the ideas behind the films.
For more information, take a look at the
Museum of Science website.
