Racing fans looking for an excuse to nip overseas could catch a
flight to Kuala Lumpur for the second Formula One race of 2007 on April 8th.
The Malaysian Grand Prix takes place at the Sepang International circuit in the heart of the capital of
Malaysia, with 56 laps to be completed around a 5.5-kilometre track.
Featuring a mix of long, high-speed straights and twisting sections of track, the circuit presents a significant challenge to some of the best race drivers in the world.
Visitors to
Kuala Lumpur will be able to bask in the south-east Asian sunshine while sitting in the grandstand of the circuit that inspired the design of many of the newer Formula One tracks to be built after 1998.
