Some of the biggest music stars in the world are set to convene in
South Africa this April and May for the My Coke Fest event.
The festival begins in
Johannesburg on April 27th at the New Market Racecourse before heading to the Kenilworth Racecourse in
Cape Town on May 1st.
Travellers might want to check out this event - which is sponsored by Coca-Cola - purely for the first South African performance from rock legends Guns N' Roses.
Visitors to
South Africa will also be able to check out live shows from the likes of Evanescence and Hoobastank, with many more bands to be announced in due course.
Thousands of fans are expected to attend this festival to see both famous stars and up-and-coming South African artists strut their stuff over a 12-hour period at both venues.
Attendees should also take in the superb attractions of both Johannesburg and Cape Town while in the country -
South Africa is consistently ranked among the top worldwide holiday destinations by travellers and it is not hard to see why.

5FM website.
