One of Europe's most potent festivals will take place this May, as Super Bock Super Rock hits
Portugal.
Named after the beer brand, the event will be situated in the Parque do Tejo, which is part of
Lisbon's Parque das Nacoes, with European and world rock acts set to take the stage, reports Whatsonwhen.
Among those performing at the May 25th and 26th concerts will be Placebo, who shot to fame with albums in the 1990's including their self-titled smash hit and Without You I'm Nothing.
Other acts on the same date include Tool, Korn, Deftones, Alice in Chains, Moonspell and Within Temptation.
However, additional gigs will take place on June 7th and 8th, featuring Franz Ferdinand, Boss AC, DEUS, Patrice and US rapper Pharrell Williams.
Although not taking place in 2007,
Lisbon also hosts the bi-annual Rock in Rio festival, based on the Brazilian event of the same name.
