British Airways (BA) is set to implement a new speech application for its customer relationship services.
TuVox, the company supplying the new system, states that the airline's customers will now receive a faster and more efficient service thanks to the new system.
Passengers will be able to access a range of information, including departure times, baggage allowance, terminal location and meal information.
Pete Smith, voice and video applications manager for
British Airways, comments: “TuVox’s solution has enhanced our ability to provide customers with 24/7 easy access to a range of information about their booking.”
Larry Miller, presidents and chief executive of TuVox, added that his company was "honoured" to be working with British Airways and that the move would be of benefit to its customers.
British Airways also recently announced that it would be cutting the cost of all of its flights to the
Middle East.
