Swiss International Air Lines has announced that it is to add an extra
flight to Zurich from
London City Airport later in the year.
Outlining details of its summer schedule for 2007, the airline said that the extra flight will take off at 07:00 GMT from the UK, with an added return service at 20:00 local time.
The addition means that the carrier will offer services between the two destinations at approximate two-hour intervals.
Swiss' announcement comes after it added services to
Geneva from London City Airport in December last year.
Also announced by
Swiss was the impending arrival of a widespread seating upgrade programme designed to give passengers more space onboard its aircraft.
The carrier's Airbus A321 and A319 planes will undergo the upgrade later this year, with European Airbus flights set to see changes that will involve the middle seats in business class being left free.
