Hopping on a
flight to Auckland this summer? Make sure you get there in time to catch the Auckland International Film Festival in July.
Taking place over the second half of the month, this huge event sees nearly 90,000 film fans descend on the Civic Theatre in
Auckland to take in full-length features, documentaries, short films and more from around the world.
Attendees will also be able to take part in a wide range of special events between screenings, including audiences with local and international directors and screenwriters.
Last year's festival saw films such as Men At Work, The Forsaken Land, The Method, Factotum and The Death of Mr Lazarescu screened at the Civic Theatre, encompassing an array of genres and sub-genres.
