A new survey has revealed travellers' top preferences for inflight amenities when flying abroad.
Clean and roomy toilet facilities came top of the list, with passengers also in favour of having a video screen for every seat, the study by TripAdvisor found.
Many passengers would be willing to splash out for little luxuries, including beds, gourmet food and massages.
For those looking to take advantage of the odd freebie, bottled water came first as their preferred complimentary drink.
Singapore Airlines was voted the best carrier for providing inflight amenities, with
British Airways and
Virgin also placing highly.
"Travellers continue to request some pretty basic amenities of carriers. By offering more room and cleaner facilities, travellers will be much happier with their airline experience," commented Michele Perry, director of communications for TripAdvisor.
