The disruption caused by yesterday's air controller strike in
Paris failed to stop all flights entering and departing the city.
About three-quarters of all scheduled flights at Orly Airport were cancelled or delayed, with minor disruption seen at Charles de Gaulle Airport, reported the Associated Press.
And the bulk of cancellations at Orly occurred before 08:00 GMT, with half being scrapped and the rest seeing delays, according to Reuters.
The disruption was caused by air controllers striking over a planned merger of operations which would see Paris' air control processes taking place at one site away from the city's main international hub, Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Meanwhile,
Brussels Airlines has delayed all flights scheduled to fly from Brussels Airport today due to an impromptu strike by fire and safety staff at the hub, according to reports.
A spokesman for the airline said that it was looking at possible travel alternatives for some of its passengers.
