Holidaymakers catching a
flight to Spain this summer might want to check out one of the most popular music festivals in the world while they're there.
The Heineken Benicassim International Festival takes place between July 19th and 22nd in Benicassim on the east coast of
Spain and features performances from an array of some of the biggest names in music.
Festival-goers will have the chance to take in headline shows from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The B-52s, Dinosaur Jr, Iggy & The Stooges, Wilco and Muse, with up and coming outfits such as The Pipettes, Peter Bjorn & John, CSS, Klaxons and Datarock also featuring.
The festival is a perfect way to get the full festival experience - tents and all - in a sun-soaked setting, with Benicassim providing an ideal base from which to explore the rest of the Costa Azahar.
Hotels and other lodgings are available in the town for those reluctant to bed down with the thousands of other happy campers in the festival campsite.
For more information, check out the
Heineken Benicassim International Festival website.
