People looking to visit
Canada may have more than a few laughs in store for them if they visit the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal.
Since 1983, each year sees thousands of people travel to Montreal, Quebec in July to sample some of the greatest comedy talent in the world.
Performers who have taken to the stage in the past include Jerry Seinfeld, John Cleese and Bill Cosby, while the cast of The Simpsons and Family Guy have also made joint appearances.
This year sees Howie Mandel, host of the American hit show Deal or No Deal, hit the microphone, along with Russell Peters - cracking jokes on home soil.
Additionally, the movie auteur in your party may also be interested in visiting Montreal in July to attend the Fanatasia Film Festival.
Taking place from July 6th to July 24th 2007, this exhibition celebrates innovative and individualistic contemporary international cinema.
