Travellers looking to fly between London and
Brussels with
VLM Airlines will now be able to take advantage of a new fast lane at the city's airport.
Passengers with a business class or a full economy VLM Airlines ticket from Brussels Airport to
London City Airport can now get through security checks quicker by passing through a separate waiting line.
Access can be gained to the fast lane by using boarding passes and a separate barcode system, with all members of VLM Airlines' frequent flyer scheme automatically being able to use the lane.
"Over 90 per cent of our passengers on this route are travelling for business purposes and the fast lane will offer them an additional time-saving advantage when travelling from Brussels to the heart of London," commented Johan Vanneste, managing director of
VLM Airlines.
Earlier this month, the airline announced that the final week of April saw a record-breaking 17,607 passengers board its scheduled flights across
Europe.
