SAS has announced plans to boost its current flights between
Aberdeen and
Stavanger and
Bergen in
Norway.
Four extra weekly return services between Aberdeen and Stavanger will take place from October 29th, while one additional flight from Bergen to Aberdeen will also be launched from the same date, reports breakingtravelnews.com.
Lars-Ove Filipson, SAS general manager for UK and Ireland, said that the increase in flights was due to high demand for early morning and late evening services.
"These new services will bring advantages to both business and leisure travellers from around the UK, providing efficient business links to the oil and gas industry of Stavanger and Bergen and the surrounding area, as well as opening up the picturesque fjords to holidaymakers," he added.
Earlier this year, the airline announced new routes between
London City Airport and
Oslo, and between Gatwick Airport and
Aalesund.
It also launched a new service between
Glasgow and
Stockholm in April.
