One of Switzerland's most popular summer events takes place in
Geneva in the form of the Fetes de Geneve next month.
Running between August 2nd and 12th, the festival attracts millions of visitors to the Geneva Lakefront every year as it puts on a wide variety of concerts, sporting contests and more to entertain the masses.
This year, there will be over 120 live musical performances at the festival, including a reconstruction of a famous Elvis Presley concert and a Pink Floyd tribute show, as well as the Lakefront Festival, which holds boat races throughout the event.
Food and drink from more than 30 countries will also be available for festival-goers to sample, while firework shows, arts and crafts displays and a fairground offer more entertainment for visitors.
Children will be extensively catered for during the festival, providing an opportunity for families to escape from rainy Britain and take a sunny break in
Geneva.

Fetes de Geneve website.
