Thousands of England football fans will head to
Moscow in October as Steve McClaren's team take on Russia in a European Championship group five qualifying match.
Scheduled to take place on Wednesday October 17th, the match is likely to be a crucial one for both teams.
Both countries are battling it out to ensure they are in the finals, which will be held in
Switzerland and Austria next summer
So far, Croatia and Israel lie above Russia and England in the group table, but McClaren's men have mainly home games to play between now and the end of the qualifying period.
England are one of the best supported countries away from home and they are sure to attract a decent following for their trip to the Russian capital city.
At last year's World Cup in Germany, tens of thousands of England fans travelled from city to city before their team was knocked out at the quarter-final stage by Portugal.
