Travellers heading to
London this autumn might want to check out one of the most acclaimed film festivals in the world while they're there.
The Times British Film Institute London Film Festival, taking place between October 17th and November 1st at venues across the city, screens films from all over the world that would otherwise be unlikely to be seen in the UK.
In 2007, the festival will be opened with a screening of Canadian director David Cronenberg's Eastern Promises, a thriller set in London itself, while Wes Anderson's The Darjeeling Limited, starring Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman, will close the event.
Visitors to
London will also be able to hear experts speak about various industry issues and talk about the thematic elements of films from around the globe.
And with London's numerous attractions and buzzing nightlife, festival-goers will be able to find much to occupy them once the festival is over.
Check out the
London Film Festival website for more information.
