Holidaymakers planning on taking the kids to
San Diego later this year could head to nearby Carlsbad on November 4th for one of the biggest one-day street fairs in the world.
Over 90,000 people visit the Carlsbad Village Faire on Grand Avenue every year, which promises a fun-packed day out for adults and children alike.
The event sees more than 850 stallholders sell wares such as antiques, clothing, world goods and arts and crafts, while children can enjoy a plethora of rides and other attractions at the fair.
Cuisine from around the world can be sampled at the international food centre, with live shows from musicians and other performers offering entertainment throughout the day.
Of course, the fun doesn't end when the fair is over -
San Diego offers plenty of things to see and do, with its attractions including white sand beaches, San Diego Zoo, Legoland California and the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.

Carlsbad Village Faire website.
