Art lovers wanting the perfect pre-Christmas break might want to head to Florida for the popular Art Miami event.

Visitors to Miami will be able to view and buy works of art at the fair in the Wynwood Art District between December 5th and 9th, with the choice of nearly 100 galleries from some 17 countries to browse.

A wide range of art is represented at the event, including pieces from regions as diverse as Latin America and China. The focus is very much upon contemporary paintings and photography and visitors will be able to consult art advisers who will be "on call" throughout the fair.

Holidaymakers in Miami might want the opportunity to find the perfect Christmas present while at the show - potentially reducing the risk of buying a loved one the same present as someone else.

A wide range of economy and business class flights to Miami are available for travellers thinking of heading to the city - and those who do choose to attend the show will find that they can take advantage of the nearby Miami Beach, entertain themselves in the Art Deco district and go shopping in Bal Harbour once the event is over.
