Silverjet has announced that its passengers will be able to benefit from expert shopping advice over the next few months.
Customers who have booked a flight that departs between November 22nd and January 31st with the
business class airline can take advantage of the expertise of retail therapist Lucia Van Der Post free of charge.
The airline said that the service would be particularly suitable for its customers as its two main destinations -
New York and
Dubai - are "shopping havens".
Ms Van Der Post will be able to use information supplied by passengers to help pick out the perfect
Christmas gift, advise shoppers on sizing and clear up tax declaration issues.
In addition to the advice service, passengers who consult Ms Van Der Post through Silverjet will be able to take a third 32 kg suitcase on the return leg of their journey.
"We're seeing record numbers of customers heading out to snap up a bargain or choosing to combine a business trip with some Christmas shopping," commented
Silverjet chief executive Lawrence Hunt.
"Lucia's eminently stylish counsel will complement our private jet experience - particularly for those who want to avoid any shopping disasters."
The airline launched its new route between
Luton Airport and
Dubai earlier this week.
